Located in Northamptonshire, Dirft offers unrivalled connectivity to the M1, M6, and A14, alongside dedicated rail freight links, ensuring efficient nationwide distribution.
Matthew Talbot, CEO of Laura James, said:
"We needed a new distribution facility that allows us to improve speed of service and enable the business to continue growing without operational constraints. DIRFT offered the right combination of scale, connectivity, and sustainability to support our long-term strategy. We are excited to bring all operations under one roof and look forward to working with Prologis to make this a reality."
The facility, DC8, is designed with sustainability at its core, targeting Breeam Outstanding and EPC A+ ratings. Features include rooftop solar PV and smart building infrastructure, promoting energy efficiency and operational resilience. Laura James will also benefit from Prologis Essentials, a tailored platform providing racking, material handling equipment, automation, and backup power to ensure the site is fully operational from day one.
