At the heart of the project is an evolved concept of the reversible integrated basin. Carpet can be installed either centrally or offset on the Nemesis cabinet, allowing it to adapt seamlessly to a wide range of bathroom layouts. This versatility enables designers to tailor compositions precisely to spatial and functional requirements.
One of Carpet's defining features is its on-site configurability. Unlike traditional solutions, the basin orientation does not need to be determined at the time of order. Instead, decisions regarding basin placement and tap positioning can be made during installation. The tap can be positioned on either the right or left side of the basin, regardless of its orientation, and wall-mounted tap solutions are also supported, offering maximum design freedom.
Carpet is available in Flumood and Colormood, antoniolupi's proprietary materials, offered in a broad palette of colours and finishes. These surfaces are compact, silky to the touch, and visually deep, while delivering high performance in terms of durability, hygiene, and long-term resistance, key attributes for contemporary bathroom environments.

With Carpet, antoniolupi continues its exploration of integrated and monolithic bathroom solutions, reinforcing the brand's commitment to research-driven design. The result is a sophisticated washbasin top that merges formal essentiality with advanced manufacturing techniques, giving architects and designers a highly adaptable tool for creating bespoke bathroom spaces.
Carpet exemplifies antoniolupi's vision of the bathroom as an architectural environment, where material, function, and freedom of composition come together in a single, refined design gesture.
