Danish office furniture manufacturer Dencon, based in Skive, continues to seek a new owner even after appointing Niels Svolgaard as its new CEO. The company, which has a production area of around 8,500 m² and employs approximately 50 staff, has been on the market since long-time owner Henrik Søgaard Feld retired in 2023 due to illness.

Svolgaard confirmed that the company is "still for sale" but emphasised there is no immediate pressure, allowing time to find the right buyer. He described the situation as both a risk and an opportunity, citing the openness and honesty within the organisation as reassuring for employees.
Alongside the ownership transition, Dencon is pursuing a growth strategy focused on strengthening exports, expanding collaboration with existing customers, and opening production to OEM assignments. The company delivered a pre-tax profit of DKK 4 million in the most recent financial year, with gross profit rising to DKK 18.3 million and administrative costs reduced by nearly DKK 2 million.
Svolgaard's task is to maintain operational momentum and create value while the search for a buyer continues, ensuring stability during the period of uncertain ownership.
