Wayfair unveils Podcast Studio makeover with Happy Place

'Calm to Chaos' brief transforms award-winning podcast into a cosy, design-led home-from-home

The project sees Happy Place's new studio transformed into a calm, welcoming, and design-led environment, created to support meaningful conversation, creativity, and relaxation. After eight years on air, the podcast now has its very own dedicated space—designed to feel like a cosy home-from-home.

Guided by the 'Calm to Chaos' brief, the refreshed studio embraces organic shapes, pastel tones, and a contemporary slow-living aesthetic. Designed in partnership with Wayfair UK's interiors experts, the space balances comfort, functionality, and thoughtful style—demonstrating how interior design can positively influence mood, connection, and wellbeing.

Reflecting the ethos of Happy Place, Fearne Cotton wanted the studio to feel warm and reassuring, ensuring guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and at ease during recording sessions. Wayfair UK worked closely with the Happy Place team to curate furniture, lighting, and accessories that elevate the space while remaining practical for professional audio production.

Olivia Sauerwein, Resident Style Advisor and Art Director at Wayfair UK, commented:
"The new studio truly captures the essence of Happy Place. Its joy-filled, colourful theme creates the perfect backdrop for guests to share their stories in comfort. We carefully selected cosy seating, tactile textures, and playful patterns to bring the look to life—ensuring the space feels inviting, expressive, and authentic."

Carey Pearson, Head of Brand & Integrated Marketing at Wayfair UK, added:
"Happy Place is about creating space for openness, reflection, and connection—values that align perfectly with how we think about home. This collaboration shows how considered interiors can influence creativity and wellbeing, helping to shape environments that support meaningful conversation and authentic storytelling."

The makeover forms part of Wayfair's ongoing commitment to helping everyone, everywhere create their feeling of home. Fans of Happy Place will be able to see the new-look studio featured as upcoming episodes air across the podcast's platforms.

The colourful Happy Place studio look is available to shop now at Wayfair.co.uk.
