Salone del Mobile.Milano will return to Fiera Milano Rho from 21 to 26 April 2026, reaffirming its position as the world's leading event for furniture and design. Officially presented on 29 January at Triennale Milano, the 64th edition confirms the Salone's role not only as a commercial hub, but as a global cultural and strategic platform for contemporary design.

The 2026 edition is fully sold out, with over 1,900 exhibitors (36.6% international) across 169,000 square metres of exhibition space. Among them are 227 new and returning brands. The biennial exhibitions make a strong comeback, including EuroCucina with FTK – Technology For the Kitchen (106 exhibitors from 17 countries) and the International Bathroom Exhibition (163 exhibitors from 14 countries). SaloneSatellite will once again host more than 700 designers under 35 and 23 international design schools.
The guiding theme of the 2026 edition is "A Matter of Salone", a narrative that places matter at the centre of design. Moving beyond form and function, the campaign explores material as origin, memory and potential, proposing design as a process of transformation from gesture to meaning. Developed by Motel409 with a multidisciplinary group of photographers and set designers, the project reinforces the Salone's reflective and cultural dimension.
Among the major new features is Salone Raritas (Pavilions 9–11), a curated platform dedicated to collectible design, unique pieces, limited editions and "outsider" objects. Curated by Annalisa Rosso with exhibition design by Formafantasma, the project positions rarity as a cultural method and a bridge between special creative production and the professional design market.
Looking to the future, Salone Contract marks the start of a long-term strategic initiative focused on the evolving contract sector. Developed under a masterplan by Rem Koolhaas and David Gianotten (OMA), 2026 represents a preparatory phase with lectures, forums and curated exhibitor itineraries ahead of its official launch in 2027.
The biennials reflect the evolution of domestic spaces. EuroCucina with FTK highlights intelligent, multisensory kitchens shaped by technology, sustainability and biophilic design, while the International Bathroom Exhibition advances the "home spa" concept, combining wellbeing, longevity and discreet digital integration.
As part of Milan Design Week, the Salone will once again extend into the city through installations, exhibitions and collaborations, including events at Teatro alla Scala and more than 200 brand showrooms open across Milan.
With sustainability, circularity and long-term value at its core, Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026 presents design as a systemic practice, one that connects material, culture and future living.
