"Our new showroom at Tysons Corner Center marks another exciting step in Vispring's North American growth," said Martin Gill, Managing Director. "2025 was an exciting year for the brand as we continued to expand our presence in the U.S., and our new Washington flagship will be Vispring's sixth North American showroom opening in 12 months. The response from American clients is proof of the growing appetite for high-quality, natural beds, and we're proud to continue to bring our British-made mattresses and accessories to one of the Washington metropolitan area's leading luxury destinations."
The showroom showcases a curated selection of Vispring's handcrafted beds and accessories, including the Diamond Majesty with matching topper, Masterpiece Superb, Cashmere Superb, Sublime Superb, Tiara Superb, Renaissance, Herald Superb, and Baronet Superb mattresses paired with Charlotte bed frames. Celebrating its 125th Anniversary in 2026, Vispring traces its heritage to the introduction of the pocket sprung mattress in London in 1901. Since relocating to Plymouth, Devon, in 1970, the company has maintained a tradition of handcrafting beds using natural fillings such as British wool, cashmere, horsehair, and silk. The brand remains one of the few UK manufacturers to produce its own springs, individually hand-nested in calico pockets and sewn using traditional hand side-stitching methods, a process that can take up to eight hours per mattress.
Today, almost 200 craftspeople continue Vispring's century-long legacy, supplying bespoke beds to 65 countries, luxury hotels, private yachts, and first-class cabins on iconic ocean liners. The company also emphasises sustainability, with durable, natural products and ISO 14001 environmental certification achieved in 2023 and 2024.
The Washington D.C. showroom is now open at 1961 Chain Bridge Rd, Space H004L, Tysons, Washington, D.C., 22102, offering luxury customers and interior designers an immersive experience of Vispring's British-made craftsmanship.
