Following the success of its inaugural edition in 2025, idd cologne is set to return on 30–31 October 2026, continuing to establish Cologne as a hub for high-end residential interior design.

The urban industry event transforms the city into a platform for exclusive home living, showcasing inspiring brand presentations, vibrant design culture, and a curated focus on premium interior solutions for private living spaces. The upcoming edition will also offer new opportunities for exhibiting products within Cologne's exhibition halls.
idd cologne will run in conjunction with ORGATEC (27–30 October 2026), creating a "hybridID" trade fair week that connects high-quality residential interior design with workspace and contract sectors. On the final days of ORGATEC, selected halls will open to interior professionals and design enthusiasts under the idd cologne banner, providing direct engagement with high-end furnishings and design trends.
"The positive response to idd cologne 2025 demonstrated the value of an urban interior design event in Cologne. Brands and visitors engaged with the event as a source of inspiration, a platform for design culture, and a hub for the community," said Matthias Pollmann, Vice President Trade Fair Management, Koelnmesse.
A growing interior design hub
The first edition attracted 106 participating brands, 16 locations across the city, and around 10,000 registered visitors, confirming the appetite for a second edition. The 2026 event will sharpen its focus on residential interiors, materials, and design concepts, appealing to both interior design professionals and private visitors interested in premium home living.
