Highlights from the Fair
- Entrance exhibition – cake celebration:
The entrance hall featured a whimsical cake-inspired installation by Saša Antić and Niklas Hansen, with oversized cake pieces, candles, and playful details that immersed visitors in a colourful, magical environment. - Garden party – 90 meters of inspiration:
In collaboration with Alcro Studio and Lena Nyholm, 15 designers curated a 90-meter-long series of styled tables. Each installation was inspired by two colours from Alcro's palette, creating a dynamic mix of ceramics, paintings, and textile art. - Tulip of the year 2026 – icoon:
Formex introduced the Tulip of the Year award, in partnership with the Swedish Flower Promotion Association. The inaugural winner was the Icoon tulip, a double tulip in warm orange hues, representing the colours of spring.
