Italian high-end furnishings brand Ludovica Mascheroni has unveiled its latest creation: the Pitti bedroom and walk-in closet, a collection inspired by the architectural grandeur of Florence's Palazzo Pitti. Combining Italian craftsmanship, natural materials, and contemporary design, the collection reinterprets Renaissance aesthetics for modern living.

The design takes cues from the Ammannati Courtyard of Palazzo Pitti, with its horizontal patterns of solids and voids, grand stone cladding known as bugnato rustico, and dynamic interplay with natural light. These principles inform the spatial organisation of the bedroom and walk-in closet, creating a sense of rhythm, geometry, and visual harmony.
The walk-in closet features Canaletto walnut blocks interspersed with delicate Tay wood lines. Slatted fabric panels evoke shutters, enhanced by integrated LED lighting that mimics sunlight filtering through. Shelves are lined with soft light leather, while bronzed brass metal details introduce a subtle contemporary touch.
The closet island continues this visual language, alternating Canaletto walnut and Tay wood in horizontal geometry, complemented by glass-topped compartments and soft leather surfaces.
In the bedroom, the Pitti bed features a freestanding headboard that integrates the bed frame and a desk behind it. Light leather blocks alternate with Canaletto walnut elements, echoing the finishes of the walk-in closet. Integrated LED lighting in the desk and bedside tables creates a warm, enveloping atmosphere, ideal for relaxation.
