Castro Lighting showcased sculptural craft and design at Maison&Objet 2026

Castro Lighting presented a series of collections at Maison&Objet 2026, held in Paris from 15 to 19 January, highlighting the brand's vision that "The Future Is Handmade." The showcase featured sculptural lighting inspired by architecture and nature alongside refined furniture pieces, reflecting the convergence of craftsmanship, material, and form. Each creation balanced elegance, structure, and emotion, bringing sophistication and timeless style to residential and hospitality interiors.

The Magma Collection drew inspiration from molten earth, transforming raw energy into sculptural lighting with a strong artistic presence. Crafted in solid brass with organic, irregular forms, the pieces were complemented by sleek glass elements that emitted a warm, inner glow. The Magma Suspension captured the moment where liquid metal meets light, its sculptural brass flowing around glass tubes to evoke movement and heat. The Magma Wall Light, available in four sizes, reflected the artisanal emphasis on natural irregularity, casting a soft, ambient glow that changed with the viewer's perspective.

The Burj Suspension was inspired by architectural ambition and vertical majesty. Its cascading composition of crystal elements created a sense of elevation and visual movement, balancing monumentality with elegance. Designed to enhance vertical spaces, Burj combined geometric harmony and contemporary luxury, transforming illumination into an architectural statement.

The Ray Suspension explored structure, rhythm, and precision through a linear, sculptural form. Crafted from polished brass and translucent glass, Ray offered modular versatility, capable of installation as a single linear piece or in staggered arrangements. Its design allowed light and shadow to interact subtly, delivering ambient illumination suitable for living areas, dining spaces, and hospitality interiors.

Drawing inspiration from stalactites, the Stala Suspension blended artistic elegance with timeless sophistication. Handcrafted from brass and crystal, the translucent elements interacted with light to create a luminous and refined ambiance, making it a statement piece for foyers, dining areas, and contemporary interiors.

Finally, the Harp Collection translated rhythm and harmony into sculptural dining pieces. Featuring a gold-plated brass table and matching chairs, including the HARP CHAIR, HARP SLIM CHAIR, and HARP DINING TABLE, the collection combined architectural strength with visual lightness, providing timeless sophistication for modern interiors.

Through its Maison&Objet 2026 presentation, Castro Lighting reinforced its commitment to handmade artistry, where heritage and innovation converge and every detail carries intention, skill, and meaning.
