Maison LELEU presents Modern Classics, an exhibition that celebrates the enduring elegance and evolving identity of the historic French house. Hosted in its recently inaugurated private showroom at 15 rue des Saints-Pères in Paris, the exhibition runs from Tuesday, 13 January until April 2026, offering an immersive journey into the Maison's refined universe, where heritage and contemporary vision coexist in constant dialogue.

Drawing from its rich archives, Maison LELEU reveals how a living heritage can inspire renewal without losing its essence. Under the artistic direction of Alexia LELEU, the exhibition highlights the Maison's commitment to preserving its distinctive stylistic codes while reinterpreting them through a freer, bolder and resolutely feminine lens. This approach places memory at the heart of creation, transforming historical references into modern expressions of French art de vivre.
Several exceptional pieces anchor the exhibition, paying tribute to the Maison's iconic Art Deco legacy. The Ève chaise lounge is reimagined as a broken duchess in subtle, nuanced tones, while the Coco chaise lounge is presented in its most pure and essential form. The Aglaé cabinet, conceived as a precious display case combining parchment and semi-precious stones, introduces a contemporary dimension by hosting jewellery created by Catherine Le Gal. Invited by Alexia LELEU, the artist explores gold, patinated steel and paint to create modern adornments that blur the boundaries between jewellery and sculpture, reflecting the individuality of those who wear them.

The Marilyn chaise lounge further illustrates this dialogue between past and present, its timeless silhouette now enhanced by a matte nickel base that underscores a sophisticated, minimalist character. Alongside other historical creations, these pieces demonstrate how Maison LELEU continues to reinterpret period forms through modern materials and sensibilities, offering a cross-cultural and cross-temporal perspective on design.
Extending this conversation beyond furniture and decoration, Maison LELEU also welcomes Spaceless Gallery into the showroom until April. Founded by Béatrice Masi, the gallery brings a nomadic and contextual curatorial approach, creating a subtle interplay between exceptional design and contemporary artistic expression. Developed harmonising with the architecture, history and craftsmanship of the location, this collaboration enriches the exhibition and reinforces Maison LELEU's vision of design as a living, evolving art form.
