Dedon 2026: The new collections by GamFratesi, Martin Hoss, Sebastian Herkner, and Hoffmann Kahleyss Design

DEDON continues to refine its vision of outdoor living with the introduction of its 2026 collections, where material expertise, technical innovation and a clear design philosophy come together. Central to this approach is the brand's proprietary DEDON Fiber, which forms the basis for durable and characterful designs created to stand the test of time. For the 2026 catalogue, Studio Besau-Marguerre recontextualised the existing collection, introducing new atmospheres through a refined sensitivity to colour, materiality and spatial storytelling. Within this curated framework, four new collections – MYMI, SOLYD, MDEAR and CALADIO – extend the portfolio while remaining unmistakably true to the DEDON identity.

With MYMI, GamFratesi brings the relaxed elegance of urban café culture into contemporary outdoor spaces. The dining collection combines a graphic, handwoven backrest with a softly rounded seat shell made from high-quality polypropylene, resulting in a silhouette inspired by the delicate form of a porcelain cup. Tapered, powder-coated aluminium legs subtly echo the colour of the seat, while a compact bistro table completes the ensemble. Offered in natural and clear colourways, MYMI adapts effortlessly to various settings, from intimate balconies and cafés to refined outdoor dining environments.

Designed by Martin Hoss, SOLYD is a dining table defined by its solid presence and timeless simplicity. Crafted from hand-selected Grade-A teak sourced from certified plantations in Indonesia, the generously proportioned table features a four-centimetre-thick tabletop that highlights the wood's natural warmth and expressive grain. Its clean, precisely crafted form allows it to pair seamlessly with all handwoven DEDON designs, offering a balance of strength and elegance that develops character beautifully over time.

MDEAR, created by Sebastian Herkner, reimagines modular outdoor seating as a sculptural and tactile experience. Composed of five versatile modules, the collection allows for fluid configurations, ranging from compact seating islands to expansive lounge landscapes. An enlarged weave pattern in DEDON Fiber Touch alternates between open and denser areas, giving the modules a clear structure while enhancing their organic softness. The result is a collection that unites comfort, material sophistication and visual impact with effortless ease.

With CALADIO, Hoffmann Kahleyss Design introduces an armchair that blends botanical inspiration with artisanal craftsmanship. Drawing on the broad, sculptural leaves of the Caladium plant, the design features flowing lines and a graphic weave that extends seamlessly across the seat, back and armrests. Handcrafted from sustainable DEDON EcoCycle Fiber, made from 90 percent renewable plant-based resources, and supported by four elegantly tapered teak legs, CALADIO offers generous comfort with or without cushions. It is ideally suited to terraces and expansive outdoor settings, embodying responsible design without compromise.
