Within its core business, the Construction division grew by 6.4% after a decline in the prior year. Robert Friedmann, spokesperson for the Executive Board, noted that 2025 had been "challenging" due to geopolitical uncertainties and a weak economy, but described the results as "very satisfactory." He added that despite ongoing weakness in industrial production, the company aims to "carry the momentum from 2025 forward" and continue gaining market share in 2026.
