This 2,450 sq. ft. location allows customers to meet IKEA staff to plan and order home furnishing solutions for kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Orders can be picked up at the site or delivered to the home; same-day pickup is not available.

Laura Mellor, IKEA San Diego's market manager, emphasised that the store increases convenience and accessibility while maintaining IKEA's affordability. The South Bay location complements IKEA's 25-year presence in the San Diego market and is part of a broader U.S. growth strategy, which includes enhancing e-commerce, delivery services, IKEA Family benefits, Click & Collect, and TaskRabbit assembly options.
The store is located at Southland Plaza Shopping Centre, 585 Saturn Blvd, Suite A, San Diego, CA 92154, serving communities like Imperial Beach, Otay Mesa, and Chula Vista.
