For the 2026 edition, Domotex broadens its scope beyond traditional flooring to include wall and ceiling systems, paints, wallpaper and sun protection. More than 170 new exhibitors will join leading flooring brands, creating fresh synergies across the entire value chain. Companies such as Saint-Gobain, PPG Coatings, Lanxess, Meffert Farbwerke, Keimfarben, Erfurt & Sohn, Gardinia and Peter Hüssen will appear alongside established flooring names including Egger, Kronospan, Unilin, Classen, Gerflor, ter Hürne and Swiss Krono.
This constellation is designed to encourage collaboration across materials, applications and target groups, offering visitors a comprehensive market overview while enabling exhibitors to unlock new business opportunities beyond conventional product boundaries.
A central feature of Domotex 2026 is its range of target-group-oriented special formats. The Architects Space provides architects and planners with a curated overview of innovative materials, systems and acoustic solutions, complemented by twice-daily Architect Runs guiding visitors to relevant exhibitors. Practice-oriented formats such as The Work Shop and the Innovation Area focus on real-world applications, new materials and digital tools for skilled trades, while the Green Collection highlights sustainable materials and future-proof product solutions.
At the heart of the event is The Stage, Domotex's central conference platform. Here, experts from retail, interior design, architecture, skilled trades and industry will address key topics shaping the future of the sector, including procurement, sustainability, acoustics, artificial intelligence and evolving requirements for planning and execution.
A special highlight will be the keynote by boxing legend Henry Maske, who will demonstrate how principles from elite sports translate into business success. As stated in the programme, his credo is: "With dedication and commitment, the impossible becomes possible."
Another focal point is procurement within the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr), with a dedicated session offering insights into processes, requirements and concrete opportunities for industry and furnishing partners.
Alongside the fair, Domotex has announced a leadership change. From 1 February 2026, Annette Levy will assume the role of Project Director. Sonia Wedell-Castellano, current Global Director, will leave Deutsche Messe AG at the end of January 2026 to pursue new professional opportunities.
DOMOTEX 2026 reinforces its position as the Home of Flooring & Interior Finishing, offering a comprehensive platform for innovation, networking and forward-looking dialogue across the European and international interiors industry.
