Immersive installations redefine the future workplace at Workspace Design Show London 2026

Workspace Design Show London will return on 25–26 February 2026 with a series of immersive installations that bring its 2026 theme, Connected Realities, to life. Taking place at the Business Design Centre in London, the show will feature major installations designed by MCM, Peldon Rose, Gensler, Area and M Moser Associates, each exploring how physical space, digital systems, materials and human experience are increasingly intertwined in contemporary workplaces.

Together, the installations form a curated journey across the exhibition floor, encouraging visitors to pause, interact and reconsider how workplaces are designed, experienced and sustained.

MCM, in collaboration with Future Works, the innovation venture of The Furniture Practice, presents The Circular Hub. The installation explores circularity across multiple product typologies, tracing materials from raw to refined. Natural and synthetic materials are displayed side by side to highlight different circular pathways, with contributions from Nested Living, Materials Assemble, Tate, Vitra and Planteria. Visitors are invited to take part in hands-on challenges, dismantling and rebuilding furniture to explore adaptability, repair and reuse. The stand itself operates as a live prototype, demonstrating a minimal, near zero-waste exhibition model focused on learning and reuse.

Peldon Rose introduces Exhale within the Insights Lounge, a pavilion designed for deep listening and reflection. Between talks, a twenty-minute sensory reset unfolds, shaped by scent and light, renewing the atmosphere of the space. Exhale will host the Sustainability Talks and Occupiers Forum throughout the show.

M Moser Associates presents Merge, a lounge installation examining the relationship between craft and technology. Structured as two parallel journeys, the space demonstrates how integrated workplace technology enables flexibility and real-time responsiveness. Through intuitive digital interfaces, visitors can personalise lighting and colour, actively reshaping the environment. Supplier partners include Camira, Viccarbe, Osol, Planteria and Steelcase.

The Workspace Design Talks Lounge, designed by Gensler in collaboration with Area, interprets Connected Realities through a stage concept that bridges physical and digital worlds. A circular stage places people at the centre, reinforcing the importance of human connection amid shifting environments.

"These installations are not visual statements alone. They are experiences designed to provoke conversation, reflection and interaction," says Esha Bark-Jones, Show Director, Workspace Design Show. "Connected Realities is about how workplaces are evolving in real time, and these installations allow visitors to experience that evolution first-hand."

Beyond the installations, the exhibition will feature hundreds of workplace products from UK and international brands, alongside four dedicated talks stages and a conference programme with over 120 speakers addressing the future of work.
