KARE Design living trends 2026: where natural elegance meets bold expression

KARE Design has unveiled its Living Trends 2026, showcasing furniture collections that blend natural materials, sculptural forms, and expressive surfaces to define modern interiors with personality. The 2026 offerings balance calm sophistication with statement-making pieces, emphasising both architectural clarity and individuality.

A central theme is travertine aesthetics, bringing warmth and timeless elegance to living spaces. Warm beige tones, gentle textures, and calm architectural forms characterise the Linnea, Alma and Travi collections, offering a spectrum from refined high-end interpretations to minimal, contemporary designs.

The Gloria Travertine collection highlights sculptural steel legs and generous travertine-look tabletops, creating an architectural yet harmonious presence in living and dining areas. Ruben introduces a modern design language with residential warmth, combining vertically structured wood-look fronts with glazed stone surfaces for a tactile, layered effect.

Energy and individuality are central to Eliano, with rounded sculptural forms, bold colours, and high-gloss lacquer surfaces that transform each piece into a confident statement. Stucco injects a playful pop attitude, featuring softly waved fronts, glossy lacquer, and delicate stainless steel frames to create rhythm and movement. In contrast, Glossy provides calm elegance, combining rounded shapes, smooth surfaces, and a timeless taupe tone with subtle glossy accents.

The Karim Rashid × KARE Design collaboration fuses iconic international design with KARE's distinctive style. Flowing forms, expressive colours, and an optimistic design philosophy define furniture and objects with strong recognition value, uniting creativity with functional living.

"KARE Design continues to focus on furniture with personality in 2026," the company notes. "From timeless travertine aesthetics and architectural designs to bold colours and high-gloss finishes, our collections demonstrate the diversity of modern living. At the centre are pieces that go beyond functionality, shaping spaces through character, materiality, and a clear design vision."

The Living Trends 2026 collections are presented at Maison & Objet, Hall 5A, Booth C128+D127, where visitors can explore the full range of furniture designed for contemporary, expressive, and comfortable living spaces.
