Christian Stokholm, Director of Strategy, Digital, and Sustainability at Stark Denmark, shared insights on the company's current position and future plans. Stark, Denmark's largest DIY chain with 80 stores, 2,400 employees, and nearly DKK 10 billion in turnover, has gained market share for 22 consecutive quarters.

Key strengths include strong momentum and record-level investments. A major initiative is the new Brøndby distribution centre, which Stokholm calls a "turning point" for service and operational efficiency. Weaknesses include the need for faster, more flexible customer service and same-day delivery, which the new facility aims to address.
Opportunities lie in supporting customers through green transition projects and adapting to regulatory changes, while threats include increased competition with three major players and macroeconomic uncertainties.
Stokholm emphasised optimism for growth across regions, leveraging the new Næstved store and Brøndby distribution hub to strengthen Stark's market position in 2026.
