Growing demand for lounge seating
Throughout the year, LD Seating recorded rising demand for comfortable lounge seating across office and public interiors. Architects and clients increasingly favoured armchairs and modular systems that combine comfort, strong visual identity and flexibility.
This trend confirmed lounge seating as a key strategic area, allowing the company to fully leverage its expertise in upholstery, sewing and foam moulding, while supporting more efficient and sustainable production with fewer imported components.
New digital presence and international showrooms
In spring 2025, LD Seating launched a redesigned website with improved navigation and clearer presentation of product variants, making it easier for architects and partners to work with the portfolio.
A major milestone was the opening of a new showroom in Clerkenwell, London—one of Europe's leading design districts. The company also expanded its presence in Germany, with selected models now displayed in the shared Hotel-Kompetenz-Zentrum showroom in Munich.

Sustainability milestones and FEMB LEVEL 3 certification
LD Seating reinforced its sustainability commitments by achieving FEMB LEVEL 3 certification, confirming compliance with strict European sustainability standards. The certification applies to selected models from the Arcus, Lyra Air and Leaf series.
Further investment at subsidiary PUR seating included new technology for producing hard polyurethane, enabling full recyclability of products in the soft seating category.
New models and expanded collections
In 2025, LD Seating introduced several new products across its portfolio. Flexi Light expanded with a four-legged model, while Flexi Lounge welcomed a new minimalist armchair. Additional models were added to the Arcus, Riva and Lotus collections.
Two entirely new series also launched: the stackable Duo conference chairs and the Quadra armchairs and sofas, developed primarily for public spaces.

International design awards
LD Seating's design excellence was recognised with two major awards. The Flexi Lounge armchair received the Red Dot Design Award 2025, while the four-legged Flexi Light chair won the German Design Award 2026. Both designs were developed in collaboration with Italian studio Orlandini Design.
Presence at key design events
During the year, LD Seating participated in major design events including Clerkenwell Design Week in London, Designblok in Prague and Design Nation Berlin. The company also partnered with Zlín Design Week, Living Forum, Pulse events in Prague and Ostrava, and the Architects' Council of Europe conference.

Early 2026 will see the launch of the Terra Lounge armchair collection by Folco Orlandini, followed in autumn by a new range of armchairs and sofas created with Czech designer Lucie Koldová.
Commercially, LD Seating plans to further strengthen its position in Germany and expand into Middle Eastern markets.
