Home furnishings retailer Dunelm has announced plans to open a new store in Kingston (UK) this year, taking over the former Plush Outlet site on Clarence Street. No official opening date has yet been confirmed.

The move follows Dunelm's freehold acquisition in Kingston upon Thames in April last year, targeting what the company described as a "key area of white space," with plans for a store launch in fiscal year 2026.
This expansion comes shortly after the reopening of Dunelm's 24,000 sq ft store in Yeovil at the Quedam Shopping Centre, which had been closed since a fire in August 2024 caused by an external discarded cigarette. The Yeovil location now features a new Dunelm Pausa café alongside its retail space.
The Kingston store will strengthen Dunelm's presence in the region, reflecting the company's continued growth strategy and focus on enhancing local accessibility while providing an integrated retail and lifestyle experience for customers.
