The But-Conforama group has wrapped up its 2025 expansion campaign with the opening of its seventh and final store of the year in Belley, France (01) on December 18th. This new location marks the chain's fourth store in the Ain department, reinforcing its local presence and creating eight new jobs. The Belley store, which spans 865 square meters, is complemented by a 1,000-square-meter warehouse to ensure consistent product availability.

Part of the group's franchise network, the store is situated in the Carrefour shopping centre within the Ousson business park, in the heart of the area's main shopping district. Residents can now access a comprehensive selection of home furnishings, including furniture, appliances, bedding, kitchens, and home decor, designed to meet a wide range of consumer needs. Managed by Anass Bennouna, the new outlet exemplifies the chain's strategy of combining local presence with economic dynamism.
The opening also reflects But-Conforama's commitment to environmental responsibility, with LED lighting installed throughout the store to reduce its ecological footprint. With 39 stores in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, the group emphasises proximity to consumers, noting that 80% of the local population is within 20 minutes of a store. The Belley location thus consolidates But's role as a key player in the Ain department, balancing customer satisfaction, accessibility, and sustainability.
