A Danish office and hospitality furniture group has acquired Rotterdam-based BigBrands to strengthen its footprint in the Netherlands and broader European market.

The acquisition allows Holmris B8 to offer clients both a local presence and access to its international network, enhancing its product portfolio and expertise in complex interior solutions.
BigBrands will continue operating from Rotterdam under its existing team and values, while gradually integrating into Holmris B8's European operations. Herjan Meloen, BigBrands' founder, highlighted the alignment in project approach, culture, and partnerships as a key factor in the deal.
This move follows Holmris B8's recent acquisition of a Swedish interior design studio, marking a continued strategic push to build a robust European platform across office and hospitality interiors.
CEO Flemming Windfeld emphasises the acquisition as part of the company's ambition to expand market share and deliver comprehensive interior solutions across Europe.
