Danish design brand Vipp has unveiled its latest innovation, the V2 freestanding kitchen, combining warmth and precision in a design evolution that softens the company's signature industrial aesthetic.

With a slender silhouette and a refined material palette, the V2 introduces oak into Vipp's long-standing tradition of stainless steel and extruded aluminium. The result is a kitchen that merges durability with tactile warmth, designed to be viewed from every angle—"ideal for modern homes where the kitchen often takes centre stage," according to the brand.
The V2 features a powder-coated steel frame resting on slender legs, carrying either oak or extruded aluminium fronts, all topped with a stainless steel countertop. Aluminium fronts offer a "clean vertical rhythm with repeated lines and a push-click opening," while oak fronts provide "rounded profiles with reeded detailing that serve as integrated grips."
Available in two palettes, the V2 can be specified in a light combination of oak veneer with natural anodised aluminium, or a darker option featuring dark oak veneer paired with dark anodised aluminium. This duality reflects Vipp's commitment to design versatility, offering a modern interpretation of industrial minimalism softened with natural materials.

The introduction of oak represents a "new material direction for Vipp kitchens," while the continued use of stainless steel and extruded aluminium ensures lasting durability. Like previous Vipp designs, the V2 blurs the line between functional kitchen and sculptural furniture, reinforcing the kitchen's role as a central element in contemporary living spaces.
Pricing is available on request, with Vipp inviting interested clients to book meetings with kitchen consultants for further information.
The V2 follows Vipp's tradition of combining design integrity with practical performance, bringing its industrial heritage into the realm of modern, warm, and tactile living.
