Marcus Lemonis has shifted his focus from the recreational vehicle sector to home retail after assuming the role of chief executive officer of Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. at the start of 2026. Lemonis stepped down as CEO of Camping World, Inc. at the end of 2025, concluding a tenure that began in 2006. He remains co-founder and continues to serve as a special advisor to the RV and outdoor retailer.

Camping World confirmed in December that its president, Matthew Wagner, would succeed Lemonis as CEO following his retirement.
Lemonis has been closely involved with Bed Bath & Beyond since 2023, when the brand was acquired by Overstock, which later rebranded as Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. He has served as executive chairman since the acquisition and will continue in that position alongside his new CEO role.
The appointment fills a leadership gap, as Bed Bath & Beyond had not previously named a CEO. Lemonis replaces Alexander Thomas, who was appointed chief operating officer in March 2025. Thomas's role ended at the close of the year, although he will remain with the company as an advisor during a transition period.
