British kitchen brand Husk Kitchens has opened a new showroom in central Bristol, reinforcing its commitment to British manufacturing, sustainable design and accessible customisation. Located on the historic Christmas Steps, the showroom brings together traditional craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics while highlighting locally sourced materials and partnerships.

Founded to bridge the gap between high-street kitchens and bespoke joinery, Husk enhances systems from suppliers such as IKEA and Howdens with made-to-order doors, panels, worktops and hardware. Co-founder Dave Young said the aim was 'to make beautifully made kitchens more accessible' by combining mainstream layouts with crafted finishing elements.
The opening marks a significant expansion for the brand, with the site also housing new office and meeting spaces, creating a central hub for design and operations. All joinery continues to be handmade in Husk's nearby Bristol workshop.

The showroom showcases shaker-style kitchens, locally sourced timber doors, minimalist matt finishes and bold hardware, reflecting HUSK's balanced design approach. It will also feature collaborations with British furniture brand Another Country and Bristol-based studio RO Projects.
All Husk kitchens are made to order using FSC-certified timber, water-based finishes and low-waste production methods. As demand for responsible British design grows, Husk continues to position itself as a leader in sustainable, modern craft.
