"The name, Nama, meaning 'raw' and 'natural' in Japanese, reflects a philosophy of honesty: in materials, in form, in the way each piece invites you to pause and inhabit the present," the company states.
Shaped by hand and designed with restraint, the chair balances lightness and strength. Curved wooden lines soften into harmony, while the upholstered backrest, secured with two simple straps, draws inspiration from the effortless functionality of Copenhagen bicycle bags. The Nama Lounge Chair is suited for dining tables, workspaces, or as an accent chair, and is available with or without armrests. Its solid oak frame comes in Coffee Black or natural finishes, paired with fully upholstered seats and backrests in black aniline leather, nubuck, or sand-coloured linen.
