A major fire erupted at a furniture warehouse in Surat, Gujarat, late on December 22, 2025. Thick plumes of smoke were reported rising from the site as flames engulfed a significant portion of the facility.

Fire tenders quickly responded, and multiple fire engines were deployed to contain the blaze. According to Fire Officer Jaydeep, six godowns were affected, and firefighting operations had been ongoing for over an hour at the time of the report. Efforts are focused on preventing the fire from spreading further.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, and, fortunately, no casualties have been reported. Authorities continue to monitor the situation, and further details are awaited.
