The future of interiors is shaped by collaboration, responsibility, and a renewed focus on how furniture lives with people over time. Across Europe's design industry, brands are rethinking not only what they make but how they present it, who they partner with, and the values they champion. Tenksom, the Danish upholstery brand within the Innovation Living Group, embraces this moment to bring people closer to design that feels honest, functional, and enduring.
Jesper Fruelund, Head of Sales at Tenksom, shares that joining the Together In-House Fair, which takes place from January 12-16, 2026, felt like a natural step. 'Being part of the Together In-House Fair allows us to offer visitors an inspiring experience by presenting high quality Danish design alongside like minded brands,' he explains. 'It reflects the spirit of Stronger Together, creating a collective design experience while maintaining individual identities.' Positioned alongside Innovation Living and Hestbæk, all three brands under the Innovation Living Group umbrella and sharing the same address, Tenksom creates an environment where visitors can explore multiple design universes in one visit. 'This open format perfectly embodies our belief in collaboration without compromising our unique identity.'

Celebrating scandinavian values and new design directions
For Tenksom, the fair is more than a showcase. 'Our main goal is to connect more closely with both existing and new partners while presenting what Tenksom stands for today,' Jesper says. At the heart of their message are core Scandinavian design values: simplicity, functionality, comfort, and longevity. 'We want to demonstrate how these values translate into real products that people can live with and cherish.'
Central to their presentation is Rund Casual, a sofa inspired by the relaxed style of the 1970s. 'Rund Casual is a tribute to that era when wall to wall carpets, soft textiles, and warm earthy tones defined interior living,' he describes. 'It's a soft, comfortable, and easygoing design that embraces natural wrinkles and patina over time. Not flaws, but part of its character.' The sofa also introduces a new collection of textiles created for 2026, designed to enhance its tactile friendliness and unique personality across all Tenksom models.

Craftsmanship at the core of design
Tenksom's approach is visible in every detail, from proportions to materials and construction. 'Honest craftsmanship is key. The structure is built to last, and comfort is designed into the core, not added as an afterthought,' Jesper emphasises. This philosophy shines through Rund Casual, where comfort, form, and function come together seamlessly. 'The sofa feels intuitive to use and is enjoyable to live with for many years.' Its modular design and removable covers support flexibility and longevity, making it adaptable to life's changes.
Visitors to the showroom can expect a fully immersive experience. 'They will be able to see, touch, and sit in our furniture, explore materials and finishes, and gain insight into our design philosophy,' Jesper says. This hands-on approach allows guests to connect deeply with the products and the story behind them.

Ultimately, Tenksom hopes visitors leave with a broader understanding of how thoughtful design supports more conscious consumer choices. 'Choosing furniture made to last plays an important role in reducing resource consumption over time,' Jesper reflects. As a supplier of upholstered furniture, they see a responsibility to design with longevity in mind, carefully considering materials, construction, and possibilities for renewal. Although Tenksom is a relatively new brand, its philosophy is rooted in Innovation Living Group's more than 50-year history, particularly reflected in the DNA of its main brand, Innovation Living.
As Tenksom currently takes part in the Together In-House Fair from January 12-16, 2026, and prepares to showcase its designs in April 2026 at High Point Market in the United States and Messe C in Fredericia, Denmark, this message remains at the forefront. 'We strive to balance responsibility with comfort, functionality, and aesthetics,' he concludes. 'Creating furniture meant to be lived with and valued for years to come.'
