The ranking was determined through extensive data collection and a reputation survey of U.S. residents. Interface achieved 94th overall, climbing 39 places from 2025, highlighting growing recognition of its leadership in climate action and its ambitious goal to become carbon negative by 2040 without relying on offsets.

Laurel Hurd, CEO of Interface, commented:
"We find ourselves in one of the most dynamic periods in recent history, and Interface remains true to its purpose, focused on becoming a regenerative business. We are committed to achieving our ambitious targets, advancing initiatives that benefit our people, customers, and the planet, and inspiring others along the way."

Interface continues to strengthen its ESG commitments, recognising that robust environmental, social, and governance practices are essential to long-term success. Its focus includes reducing environmental impact, fostering an exemplary workplace, supporting local communities, and conducting business ethically. The company continues to set ambitious climate goals aligned with the highest standards of corporate responsibility.

The Newsweek ranking, now in its seventh year and conducted in partnership with Statista R, evaluates companies on more than 30 ESG-related KPIs from corporate reports and public data, alongside a consumer survey measuring public perception of corporate responsibility.
