Howdens continues expansion in Ireland with three new depots

Howdens has announced the opening of three new depots in the Republic of Ireland, increasing its total footprint in the region to 17 and 33 across the entire island. The new locations in Navan, Galway, and Wexford will generate 19 new jobs, including sales kitchen designers and depot management positions. The company has also revealed plans to open seven additional depots in Ireland throughout 2026.

Brian Buchan, Howdens' regional director for the Republic of Ireland, emphasised that the expansion reflects the company's commitment to supporting trade customers across the region. Each new depot will stock the full range of Howdens' products, including over 100 kitchen and fitted bedroom collections, as well as joinery, doors, flooring, and other essentials. By carrying these items locally, Howdens aims to improve availability and convenience for trades people, helping them save time and complete projects more efficiently.
