Furniture Village has opened a new National Distribution Centre at Prologis Park Marston Gate, doubling its logistical capacity and supporting both existing and new jobs. The state-of-the-art facility became fully operational ahead of peak trading in Q4 2025 and sits adjacent to the company's existing distribution centre.

The move enables faster delivery times, streamlined operations and improved nationwide service. The centre unites national and regional distribution services, while also providing office space and a bespoke training facility, creating a technology-enhanced hub for fulfilment and customer service teams.
Prologis refurbished the site, upgrading offices and achieving an EPC A rating, while providing procurement support including wide aisle racking and LED lighting. A dedicated skills academy allows staff to develop expertise in logistics and customer service.
Remaining at Marston Gate ensures continuity of the experienced workforce and maintains access to the park's amenities, including an orchard and café. David Ayers, Operations Director at Furniture Village, said the expansion provides "capacity and flexibility to keep pace with customer demand" and deliver a "quicker, smoother experience" across the UK.
Gillian Scarth, Leasing Director at Prologis UK, highlighted that the refurbishment and seamless transition allow the company to scale sustainably while retaining its talent in Central Bedfordshire.
