Oak remains the most popular design, accompanied by warmer neutral tones such as greige, honey, sand and natural wood shades, while white and grey are declining. Other species, including Chestnut and Acacia, are gaining attention, and marble and stone effects are rising in popularity due to advances in digital printing. Long and wide planks remain in demand, alongside geometric patterns such as herringbone and chevron.
Performance features such as water, scratch and stain resistance, anti-fingerprint surfaces, and improved installation systems are now standard, making laminate suitable for homes, offices and hospitality spaces.
Sustainability remains central, with increased use of post-consumer recycled content, circular production processes and energy-efficient practices. Laminate continues to combine affordability, durability and eco-conscious design, offering consumers a "style and sustainability" balance without compromise. EPLF members reaffirm their commitment to innovation, craftsmanship and environmental responsibility.
