PAIDI has once again been named "Brand of the Century" in 2025, an accolade recognising brands of exceptional influence, innovation, and consumer trust in Germany. Organised by publisher Dr Florian Langenscheidt in collaboration with the Die Zeit publishing group, the award highlights companies that have shaped their product category through consistent quality and long-term relevance.

In the children's furniture category, PAIDI stands out for its commitment to safety, sustainability, and design that grows with children. From the brand's first mass-produced cot in the 1930s, which featured removable bars to ensure toddler safety, to its current extensive range of beds, desks, and storage solutions, PAIDI has maintained a legacy of innovation and reliability.
The "Brand of the Century" award is based on stringent criteria, including brand tradition, strength, innovative capability, and the ability to generate sustainable value. Unlike other awards, brands cannot apply; instead, an independent jury of industry experts proactively evaluates candidates, selecting those that represent the pinnacle of their segment.
Dr Florian Langenscheidt presented the award to PAIDI Managing Director Roland Mayer and Head of Marketing Christina Pfeil at a ceremony in Berlin, underscoring the brand's enduring reputation for quality, safety, and trust.
The accolade situates PAIDI alongside iconic German brands such as BMW and Hipp, recognising its pivotal role in shaping consumer expectations in children's furniture. According to the jury, when asked, "Which brand is representative of children's furniture?", the unanimous answer was clear: "PAIDI."
PAIDI's approach combines ergonomic design, premium materials, and durable construction, ensuring that its furniture accompanies children safely from infancy through to teenage years. The brand's recognition as Brand of the Century reflects its ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability, securing its place as a benchmark for generations of families.
