IKEA U.S. has announced a new Plan and order point with Pick-up in Newnan, Georgia, scheduled to open in spring 2026. The 3,457-square-foot location in Ashley Park will provide Atlanta-area customers with access to IKEA's home furnishing solutions, including kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms, without needing to visit the larger Atlanta store.

At the Newnan location, shoppers can meet with IKEA staff to plan and order customised solutions. Orders can be picked up at a convenient time, though same-day collection will not be available. Online shoppers may also select the Newnan site for order pick-up.
Brandon Lomax, market manager for IKEA Atlanta, said the new store "brings our signature design solutions to the Newnan community, making it more accessible, more convenient, and of course, more affordable."
The Newnan store is part of IKEA U.S.'s broader expansion strategy, which includes multiple new-format Plan and order points, investments in e-commerce, enhanced delivery options, and services such as TaskRabbit assembly. IKEA has been operating in the Atlanta market since 2005 and continues to adapt to consumer preferences by offering flexible, design-focused shopping experiences closer to local communities.
This expansion strengthens IKEA's presence in Coweta County and surrounding areas while maintaining the main Atlanta location for its iconic food offerings and full in-store shopping experience.
