Brokis illuminates the reborn Fairmont Golden Prague with contemporary Czech glass artistry

Brokis has unveiled its latest contribution to European luxury hospitality design through a series of refined lighting installations and decorative glass objects at the newly reopened Fairmont Golden Prague. Following an extensive renovation, the iconic hotel, formerly the InterContinental Prague, has re-emerged with a contemporary interpretation of its 1974 brutalist architecture, retaining its distinctive linear form while embracing elevated modern detailing.

As part of the interior's carefully curated design refresh, several of Brokis' most celebrated collections have been installed throughout the public spaces and suites. The brand notes that it is proud to be among the prestigious designers and makers selected to furnish the revitalised landmark, underscoring the hotel's commitment to craftsmanship and Czech design heritage.

At the entrance, visitors are greeted by Muffins, the renowned lighting collection by Lucie Koldova and Dan Yeffet. Presented in smoke-grey hand blown glass paired with an American walnut base, the pieces introduce a warm, sculptural presence that complements the hotel's contemporary material palette.

The Gold Lounge features further iterations of Muffins, displayed in symmetrical pairs. Here, the bases expand into two distinct finishes, black stained oak and grey marble—offering variations in tone and texture that subtly enhance the refined lounge environment.

In the Presidential Suite, Brokis showcases a composition of five Capsula pendant lights, also designed by Lucie Koldova. Their layered transparent and opaline glass shades create a soft, ambient luminosity that reflects the suite's focus on atmospheric comfort and aesthetic sophistication.

Beyond lighting, the hotel incorporates decorative pieces crafted from Brokisglass, the brand's signature upcycled material, in the Zlatá Praha restaurant. Overlooking the city's historic skyline, the restaurant is accented by vases and bowls from Simona Sbordone's SENZA FINE collection. Rendered in an amber glass finish, the objects introduce contemporary character while harmonising with the restaurant's warm, golden interior scheme.

The integration of Brokis collections across the Fairmont Golden Prague highlights the brand's ongoing dedication to artisanal glasswork and innovative material reuse. Through a blend of Czech craftsmanship and international design sensibility, the installations contribute to the hotel's renewed architectural identity while enhancing the guest experience with elegant, expressive lighting.
