A furniture store with over 50 years of presence in North Rhine-Westphalia, is preparing to close its Düsseldorf warehouse outlet. The closure follows challenges faced by local retailers, including competition from online shopping and difficulties in finding successors.

Before shutting down, Riegel Interior, is hosting a clearance sale, offering at least 20 percent off furniture and accessories while supplies last. Shoppers can visit the warehouse at Marshallstraße 17 every Friday from 12 pm to 7 pm and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm to take advantage of the discounts. The sale includes high-quality furniture, cosy accessories, and new items from bankruptcies, special offers, and overstock.
Riegel Interior operates branches across the region, including Dorsten, Wesel, Recklinghausen, Duisburg, Düsseldorf, and Schermbeck. The Düsseldorf outlet's closure marks the end of an era for the local community, which has long relied on the store for home furnishings.
No exact closing date has been announced, but the store has confirmed that the warehouse sale will run in the coming weeks.
