Founder of OT Skabe, Ole Trommer, 79, reports that while parts of the facility, such as the exhibition area, canteen, and offices, are still under reconstruction, production lines are operational. The company aims to fully resume operations, including the exhibition area, by the end of February 2026.

Intensive renovation work continues, focusing on repairing water-damaged sections and reconfiguring production equipment. OT Skabe, established in 1992, primarily supplies and fits kitchens in South Zealand, Møn, and Falster.

Ole Trommer reflected positively on the experience, stating, "It doesn't matter what goes wrong in life, as long as it comes back."
