2025 was a landmark year for House Nordic, highlighted by the groundbreaking of its new 16,000 m² high-bay warehouse in Søndersø on a newly acquired 95,000 m² plot. "It's the largest investment in House Nordic's history," says Henrik Jørgensen, CEO. "This strategic step will consolidate our activities, strengthen logistics, and support the continued growth we expect."
The company also expanded its workforce, surpassing 100 employees, driven by growing demand across the 50 countries it serves. "We've been scaling our team both in Denmark and Asia to ensure we maintain quality and service standards as our business grows," adds Rasmus T. Andersen, Key Account Manager.

Navigating challenges
Like many in the industry, House Nordic faced logistical hurdles, particularly due to instability around the Suez Canal. "Freight challenges created longer shipping times and rising costs," Andersen explains. The company mitigated these issues by absorbing part of the cost increases, strengthening procurement and quality control teams in Asia, and implementing AI-driven tools across customer service and internal workflows.
Several achievements stand out for the year. The launch of the new logistics centre, expected to become the backbone of future growth, tops the list. Financial momentum was strong, with projected topline growth of around 25%. The company also introduced numerous new products, which were well received across international markets.
"Operational strength and the ability to adapt quickly to customer needs have been key to our success," Jørgensen notes.
Lessons for the future
2025 offered important strategic lessons. Andersen highlights the critical role of supply chain resilience, noting, "Full control of logistics structures and the ability to adapt quickly to external shifts is essential." Jørgensen adds that investing in competencies across sales, purchasing, logistics, and customer service ensures the organisation stays ahead of growth while maintaining high standards.
House Nordic's main focus for 2026 is completing and integrating the new warehouse, expected by October. "This will give us a unified logistics setup, lower handling costs, faster deliveries, and a better customer experience," says Jørgensen. Preparations are also underway for further expansion on the 95,000 m² plot, including additional storage, showrooms, and office space.
Andersen emphasises continued product innovation: "We are expanding our assortment with new items that bring fresh options to the market, supporting our ambition to offer more exciting solutions to customers next year."

Market Awareness and Consumer Trends
House Nordic is keeping a close eye on freight prices, material and design trends, and international demand patterns. "Consumers remain price-conscious but increasingly value quality and authenticity," Andersen observes. Jørgensen adds, "By adjusting prices in line with freight developments, we strengthen our competitive position in key markets."
Looking ahead
The ambitious goal for 2026 is clear: fully consolidate logistics and distribution within the new warehouse while enhancing customer satisfaction. "We aim to handle more volume than ever, reduce delivery times, and solidify House Nordic as one of the most sought-after companies in our segment," Jørgensen concludes.
House Nordic's journey continues from humble beginnings to constructing a DKK 100 million logistics centre, underpinned by quality, simplicity, competitive pricing, and meaningful partnerships. The company looks forward to connecting with customers and partners at upcoming international trade shows, including Maison & Objet, Formland, Ambiente, Meble Polska, and the Furniture Fair in Fredericia.
