Dunne is the new outdoor furniture collection designed by Nao Tamura for Gandiablasco. The Dunne collection has won the Archiproducts Best Product 2025 award in the Outdoor category. This series is inspired by the organic and fluid forms of nature, such as the soft curves of the dunes, the rhythm of the waves, and the line of the seashore. The designer sought to transfer this sensation of movement and softness to pieces that are both sculptural and welcoming.

"I sought to create something that was perceived as organic but precise; tactile but minimalist. A design that evoked the beauty of nature, but was not simply a replica of it," explains the designer.
The collection stands out for a very complex formal balance, as it manages to assemble structures of 100% recyclable aluminium to create volumes that integrate with discretion and harmony in any space.

The design of Dunne is characterised by the superposition of circles, which generates a fluid and sensitive geometry that follows the contour of the body. For the texture, Nao Tamura avoids the direct imitation of wicker and opts for horizontal grooves in the metallic components, offering a refined and unique finish. In addition to its aesthetics, the design is highly efficient: its symmetry allows the modules to be flipped, which simplifies semi-industrial production without sacrificing the integrity of the concept.

Dunne manages to unite contrasts masterfully: the elegance of the aluminium with the comfort of the integrated cushions, and the organic curves with the precision of its engineering. This collection is proof that beauty arises from the perfect integration between function and form. The pieces are light, of apparent simplicity, but behind them there is a complex and precise engineering process, reaffirming our commitment to talent that fuses art and technique.
The collection is monomaterial and totally modular. It consists of armchairs, sofas with multiple variants (including an option for an integrated side table and different armrests), and a low table with a concrete top. Its total modularity allows for the creation of configurations that adapt to any need, from long nine-seater sofas to more compact models, offering lightness and versatility for a freer life connected with the environment.
