Fedustria / BelgoFurn is proud to announce a powerful new initiative that puts the best of Belgium's design heritage back in the international spotlight: Best of Belgium. At Maison & Objet 2026, Belgium will for the first time take its place with a joint group stand, and following this, Fedustria will launch a particularly inspiring concept: the Best of Belgium Design Gallery, a refined, carefully curated showcase that will make the richness, diversity and maturity of Belgian furniture and object design tangible for a global audience of designers, buyers, press and design enthusiasts. The resonance of Best of Belgium from the start is evident from the enormous interest: this first edition is already almost full and underlines the international strength of our Belgian brands.

The Gallery will have a prominent place along the fair's red carpet: a symbolic entrance where visitors are literally welcomed through a gateway of Belgian craftsmanship and creativity. In a uniformly elegant scenography, iconic designs, timeless classics, contemporary innovations and new voices come together in one almost museum-like experience. Each piece is presented with respect for form, material and character, allowing the design to speak fully, clearly, powerfully and irresistibly Belgian.
Best of Belgium puts the focus not only on objects, but also on the world behind them. Each displayed item is given a name and QR code that leads visitors directly to the digital story behind the brand and product. This creates a strong visual experience as well as a direct bridge to the identity, expertise and creativity of our sector: ateliers, designers, traditions and the idiosyncratic vision that define Belgian design.
With this initiative, Fedustria wants to shine the spotlight on a sector that, even in challenging times, shows exceptional resilience, imagination and passion for quality. The Best of Belgium Design Gallery is more than a presentation: it is a collective pride, an invitation to the world to discover the best from Belgium, and a new international stage that structurally strengthens the visibility of Belgian designers and brands.

Paris is the starting point of a broader strategy in this regard. Best of Belgium is growing into a recognisable and evolving platform that also promotes Belgian creativity at other international fairs and events, from the Middle East to the United States, and of course at times such as Antwerp Design Week. Together, we anchor the Belgian design identity in the international field: with quality, character and quirky beauty as our unmistakable signature.
