Danish home furnishing retailer JYSK plans to open a new distribution centre in Italy by the end of 2027 to support growth in Italy and other European markets. As a first step, the company will rent a temporary warehouse of 50,000–60,000 m² in northern Italy, similar to its current arrangement in Spain, where a new distribution centre is under construction in Almenara, north of Valencia.

The warehouse and future distribution centre will supply all Italian stores and handle online orders, enabling faster and more efficient delivery and enhancing customer experience.
JYSK's logistics team is already scouting locations for both the temporary facility and the permanent centre. This will be JYSK's 11th distribution centre, complementing centres under construction in Lelystad, Netherlands and Almenara, Spain. The move is expected to improve workload distribution between centres and reduce CO₂ emissions by shortening transport distances.
JYSK currently operates 109 stores in Italy, including its online shop.
