launch of a breakthrough manufacturing technology that enables flooring accessories—
such as roundnose and square stair covers, transition profiles, and clickable skirtings—
to be produced directly from the original flooring panel. Successfully developed,
validated and commercialized by Unilin's own production sites, this technology is a
testamentto Unilin' commitment to bringing proven solutions to the market. It guarantees
perfect uniformity between the floor and all accompanying accessories, dramatically
simplifying production while improving installation and visual consistency.
By starting from the original floor plank, the new technology ensures that every accessory
shares the exact same design, texture and color as the flooring itself. This results in a
flawless, fully coordinated finish and seamless transitions . Installation is easy, with all
accessories simply locking into place. The technology offers stair covers in both a modern
square-edge and more traditional roundnose, along with clickable moldings, and profiles.
Today's accessory production typically involves an extensive color matching process
when a new flooring design or color is introduced. An approach that is both timeconsuming and costly.

With Unilin's new technology, accessories are made directly from flooring planks,
eliminating the need for any color-matching process. This significantly reduces lead
times, lowers production complexity, and enables manufacturers to bring complete
collections to market faster, all while improving the scratch resistance and overall quality
of the accessories. On top of that, the technology offers great advantages in terms of
shipping and SKU management since all accessories have the same length as the floors
themselves, allowing them to be shipped together on a pallet. The production process is
fully compatible with laminate, engineered wood and SPC core materials, making it a
versatile solution for a wide range of flooring products.
