Swiss Sense is significantly expanding its store network in the coming months, with a particular focus on the Belgian market. The company recently announced the acquisition of two Leen Bakker stores in Tielt-Winge and Mechelen, which are set to open in December and January, respectively. Earlier this year, Swiss Sense opened a new store in Lommel, and a branch in Wevelgem/Kortrijk will follow in December. In addition, the Bruges store is planned to be relocated, while the Hasselt and Olen branches will be enlarged, says Fabienne Geraedts, Director of Retail & Formula.

The network is also being expanded in the Netherlands. In December and January, new stores will open in Maastricht (in the former Carpetright premises), Assen, and Emmen. The Den Bosch branch will relocate at the end of January to improve the shopping experience.
In Germany, Swiss Sense is also pursuing expansion. The Münster branch will move in March 2026, while the company is actively seeking new locations, including in North Rhine-Westphalia. CEO Martin Diks has previously indicated that there is potential for more than 100 stores in Germany. In early November, Swiss Sense opened a new store in Cologne.
These growth plans are supported by a capital injection of over EUR 100 million. "This refinancing enables us to accelerate strategic expansion, including international growth," says Fabienne.
