Comparable sales increased by 7.2 per cent, while EBIT rose by 13.7 per cent compared with the previous year.

"We are proud to have achieved our best year yet in a challenging market. This success is thanks to our employees, who make a difference for our customers every day. Consumers are seeking value more than ever, and at JYSK they find exactly that: quality at competitive prices," said Frank Christant, Country Director of JYSK Netherlands, Belgium and France.

Global achievements
JYSK also recorded exceptional results internationally. Total revenue rose by 11.8 per cent to DKK 46.3 billion (€6.2 billion), while EBIT reached DKK 5.6 billion (€753 million), an increase of 26.9 per cent on the previous year. The company welcomed 13.7 million new customers worldwide, both in stores and online.

During the year, JYSK opened 148 new stores, including the first locations in Morocco and Uruguay, bringing the total store count to 3,575 across 50 countries.

In the Netherlands, new stores were opened in Delft and Harlingen, and a further 12 stores were converted to the new, modern store concept. Almost all Dutch stores are now fully renovated and future-ready.

Outlook for 2025/26
JYSK has launched the new fiscal year under its global strategy, "Customers First Choice". Over the next three years, the company will invest in IT and digital platforms, focusing on expansion in existing markets and growth in major European cities.

The first compact store near Amsterdam has opened, demonstrating how the full product range can still be presented in limited space. This concept has also been applied to the renovated store in Amersfoort.

"We aim to use the experience gained here to open more stores in major cities, where space is limited. Our target remains at least 140 stores in the Netherlands," said Christant. The next store is scheduled to open in spring 2026 on Van Bleiswijkstraat in Amsterdam, taking over from Leen Bakker.

Next year, JYSK will celebrate 20 years in the Netherlands. The new distribution centre in Lelystad, spanning 147,000 m² and fully operational by 2027, will further strengthen growth and service.
