Il Bronzetto has unveiled EDGE, a new sculptural door handle designed in collaboration with OmniDe, the London-based architecture and interior design studio. With its faceted, architectural geometry, EDGE elevates a functional everyday element into a distinctive design gesture, bringing together craftsmanship, material experimentation and contemporary usability.

The concept emerged from OmniDe's investigation of the "sharp geometries and pure volumes" seen in modern architecture. Through the study of angular forms, shifting surfaces and the ways in which light interacts with precise edges, the studio developed a handle with strong material presence and visual depth. The design was refined through iterative prototyping to perfect proportions, ergonomics and durability, resulting in what Il Bronzetto describes as a micro-architecture in its own right.
EDGE is crafted to integrate naturally across a wide range of interior environments — from residential projects to high-end hospitality and workplace settings. Its sculptural surface captures light at multiple angles, transforming the door into an architectural feature. The handle is available in a wide palette of finishes, including brushed nickel, bronze, satin chrome and gold variants, allowing designers to either create subtle continuity or introduce a standout visual accent.
Its impact is already being noted in real projects. As one residential client noted:
"EDGE transformed the entrance of our penthouse into an almost museum-like experience. The nickel finish changes with the light and never fails to catch our guests' attention."
Sustainability forms a core pillar of the project. Il Bronzetto prioritises long-lasting materials such as nickel and brass, both fully recyclable and chosen for their durability. The brand emphasises longevity as a countermeasure to short-lived trends, ensuring that EDGE maintains relevance and reduces waste over time. The company's "Multi-Finish" approach further supports responsible production, enabling extensive customisation without additional manufacturing runs.
Designed as both a tactile element and a sculptural detail, EDGE demonstrates Il Bronzetto's ongoing commitment to craftsmanship, material intelligence and timeless design.
