The 57th CIFF Guangzhou introduces its new theme: Connect & Create

The global furniture industry is moving through a moment of deep transition.
New consumer behaviours, shifting trade patterns, rapid digitalisation and the rising demand for smarter, greener living are reshaping the way companies design, produce and bring furniture to the world. It is precisely within this landscape that the 57th CIFF Guangzhou, returning from 18–21 March and 28–31 March 2026, introduces its new theme: Connect and Create..
More than a concept, it is a direction. A way of interpreting change and giving shape to the opportunities emerging across the global market.

The strong results of CIFF Guangzhou 2025 laid the foundation for this evolution. Last March, more than 4,900 exhibitors and 363,000 professional visitors from 187 countries gathered at the fair, marking a 10.91% increase in overseas attendance. This remarkable growth reflects the renewed centrality of China within global sourcing, manufacturing and design—and underlines CIFF's responsibility to offer not only a marketplace, but a vision. In 2026, this vision takes the form of Connect · Create.

A fair that "CONNECT" a world in transformation
"CONNECT" expresses CIFF's role as a platform where flows of people, ideas, goods and information converge. Today, international buyers are again looking to China for competitive and reliable sourcing, while manufacturers accelerate innovation in materials, technology, and R&D. At the same time, consumers are embracing new digital models: VR home design, social commerce, and omnichannel retail are transforming the shopping journey and raising expectations for products that are more adaptive, sustainable and personalised.

A new visual identity for a renewed mission
The 2026 edition also introduces a refreshed visual identity that represents CIFF's evolving role. Reinterpreting the iconic hexagon, the new mark integrates the letters "C–I–F–F" into a single fluid structure, enhanced by a liquid metal texture. This aesthetic conveys both strength and adaptability, reflecting an industry in constant movement. The deep blue palette symbolises openness, depth and stability—values that guide CIFF's commitment to building an inclusive and future-oriented ecosystem.

An improved exhibition experience
Spanning 850,000 square meters, CIFF Guangzhou 2026 evolves its exhibition structure to better reflect the new directions of living and working:

· The Home Furniture Exhibition (phase 1) highlights contemporary design, smart sleep innovations, outdoor living, pet-oriented products and new international collaborations.

· The Office and Commercial Space Exhibition (phase 2) focuses on sustainable work environments, integrated solutions for education, hospitality and public spaces, and new workspace philosophies.

· CIFM/interzum guangzhou (phase 2) presents the full strength of China's advanced manufacturing, from intelligent machinery to material innovation and integrated hardware systems.

Together, these areas provide a comprehensive view of the industry—its present and its upcoming future.
