German designer Moritz Putzier and the Polish furniture brand artu have developed a new plywood chair collection. Tolu is a contemporary chair designed for modern living. Crafted from ash veneer, it combines a bold silhouette with a forward-thinking design approach. Its generous backrest and subtly flexible structure provide exceptional everyday comfort, while the 3D-shaped seat naturally adapts to the body's contours.

Despite its strong visual presence, Tolu is remarkably lightweight, easy to assemble and disassemble, and efficiently flat-packed.

What truly sets Tolu apart is its repairable construction: each of its six molded components can be individually reordered and replaced. Instead of discarding the entire chair, you simply renew the part you need — allowing Tolu to grow with you and last for years.
