Early Bird enthusiasm for Trends Up West signals confidence in Europe’s lifestyle market

With seven months remaining until the eighth edition of Trends Up West, the organisers report stronger-than-expected momentum during the Early Bird registration phase, which closes on 30 November. More than 180 companies have already signed up, surpassing last year's figures and signalling renewed confidence across the European lifestyle and consumer goods sectors.

The Düsseldorf-based event, scheduled for 27–29 June 2026, is once again shaping up to fill two exhibition halls. New daily registrations include brands such as Candle Guy, Clear Chox, Cottage Garden Decoration, Designbite, Fülop Essenzen, Glam & Glory, Kettcards and Moogoo Creative Africa, reflecting the broad spectrum of gourmet, stationery, lighting, textile and decorative product categories that define the fair.

Highlighting exhibitor sentiment amid an uncertain market, Willo Blome (blomus), speaking on behalf of organisers Florian Burghard (sompex) and Marco Hübecker (fleur ami), notes: "We know that the current market conditions are challenging. Many companies are hesitant to allocate their budgets and decide which events to attend in the year ahead. That's why we are all the more pleased that so many brands have already committed to our event. It's a clear sign of trust in our format."

Early Bird rates remain available until 30 November 2025, allowing exhibitors to secure space at €130 per square metre before the standard tariff of €140 applies. The organisers anticipate hosting more than 300 exhibitors and 450 brands, continuing the fair's trajectory as a key European platform for the home and lifestyle industry.

The event's success is strongly tied to its boutique approach, combining curated presentation with personal service. Project manager Christian Kasch emphasises this philosophy: "Our event is not an anonymous trade fair machine, it's a boutique show with individual support. This year, we are actively expanding our reach to connect our exhibitors with an even larger and more qualified visitor network."

For retailers and buyers, robust early commitments provide greater planning certainty. The 2026 edition will again showcase autumn/winter lines for the same year while offering an early preview of spring/summer 2027, reinforcing Trends Up West's strategic timing for the European market. Visitors from Germany and neighbouring countries can also benefit from discounted rates at partner hotels.

Defined by its clear profile, growing network and commitment to meaningful industry connection, Trends Up West continues to position itself as a forward-looking hub for inspiration and trade. In Düsseldorf, as the organisers emphasise, the early bird truly does catch the worm.
