The anticipation in the Sauerland is growing, because in a few months' time, the who-is-who of the industry will meet again at the Lichtwoche Sauerland. Familiar brands and new names are once again in attendance. "Even though the economic conditions are anything but easy at the moment, we feel a lot of support within the industry," said spokesman duo Alois Fischer and Andreas Kuhrt. "Preparations are being made with great care and the participating companies are showing that they are ready to send strong signals in March."

That the current consumption dip is causing noticeable challenges for many market participants is a reality that cannot be denied. But at the same time, the demand for good products remains, in all price ranges. In numerous European households, people are consciously investing in their living environment, and that is precisely where good lighting plays an essential role. For the trade, these remain valuable starting points for positioning.
Once again, renowned manufacturers and suppliers of decorative interior lighting from Germany and Europe have confirmed their participation in the Lichtwoche Sauerland and are looking forward to receiving their customers in representative showrooms. While the teams in the companies are working on concepts, presentations and products, organisational preparations are also being made by the organisers.

The app #LWS, introduced last year, will be upgraded with even more artificial intelligence to help visitors get their bearings even better. Navigation to the various exhibitor locations will be improved, as will the overview of novelties, services and offers. At the same time, arrangements will be made with partner hotels, supporters and cooperation partners.
From 15 January 2026, customer registration will be open via the Lichtwoche Sauerland website. "From then on, visits can be registered, hotel vouchers booked and tickets for our LightNight requested," announces Dennis Köhler, coordinator of the Lichtwoche.
