Architectural futurist Tim Fu, founder of a London-based AI-first practice, will demonstrate how generative AI can shape entire architectural projects while remaining grounded in practical material and construction realities. Fu's live session, hosted by Architonic Editor-in-Chief Simon Keane-Cowell, will take place on 14 January at 3 p.m. on the Texpertise Stage, Hall 6.0.
Heimtextil's expanded content programme also features insights from Alcova, SPOTT Trends' Anja Bisgaard, and Atelier Brückner's Elisabeth Ramm, who will explore AI applications in design, production, and sales. Visitors can discover how AI-driven tools are helping to streamline workflows, spark innovation, and redefine the creative potential of textiles.
The 2026 edition introduces a newly optimised interior design hub across Halls 3.0, 3.1, and 4.1, featuring premium decorative and upholstery fabrics, wallpapers, sun-protection solutions, and integrated interior concepts. Highlights include the Interior.Architecture.Hospitality Library and a design installation by Patricia Urquiola.
